On the Book
"Iconografia De Los Uniformes Militares;
Invasiones Inglesas 1807"

Received a letter from Terence Wise who, as most people will know sells out of print, secondhand and antiquarian books. He was kind enough to inform me of a title that he had just acquired which could be of interest to me. It is a book that I already have and being that this paragraph is the last one for me to type up before taking it to the printers his letter could not have arrived at a better time.

The title of the book is "Iconografia De Los Uniformes Militares; Invasiones Inglesas 1807" By Enrique Williams Alzaga, published in Buenos Aires in 1967, this is the work which contains all of Enrique Alzaga's watercolours of the Argentine uniforms worn by the various militia and regular units during the 1807 period and worn against the British during those eventful years of 1806-07. There are 24 full colour page illustrations (9x13") and 3 folded full colour plates (21x15) plus 16 pages of Spanish text on the plates, the binding is a little worn but otherwise its in very good condition. This is a very good book to have if your interests cover this episode or uniforms, quite rare too. The price quoted to me was £50.00 plus £3.30 postage, the postage is for the U.K. If you are interested in this book please contact;
