Hat red, gold lace sweat band and brim edge, head scarf red with white stripes, cloak dark blue with gold lace cords, jacket buff [leather ?] gilt buttons, trousers dark blue, yellow lace on outer seam with white inner garment showing through, gilt buttons, shoulder sash red with gold lace fringe, sword knot white, steel scabbard, gilt hilt, white shirt, boots brown leather, boot surrounds in buff natural leather.

Flag pole brown, [the colour details for the flag is from the book "El Ejercito Mexicano", Ministry of Defence, Mexico 1979, page 87, T.D.H.] field cream, legend in black, top left is the Spanish coat of arms i.e. 2 rampart lions and 2 castles, central disc with 3 fleur de lys, bottom section what appears to be a flower, rose bud shape with stem and two leaves in green with red centre to green flower bud. The colours other than for the flower just appear to be cream with the crown, lions, castles, circles painted on in brown 'Lines, the different sections borders are painted in black, top right disc; again crown and two circles in brown paint outline, the centre shows two saints outside a church these are on a green base with cream top, three green hills on the left hand side while on the right is the church in brown highlighted in white with a group of green trees in the background.

The saints wear black and white robes plus halo's in brown, the Lady / Virgin of Guadalupe is surrounded in rays [brown lines overpainted in a light blue wash], gold/brown crown, blue head cover, white dress with brown embroidery on front of dress, light blue edge to collar, black waist sash, black hair, white face and hands. The angel is under a black crescent that is surmounted by two cream scrolls, he has black hair, wings of light brown with red tips to the feathers, the flag in the book has under the black letters, on both sides, a branch of green oak leaves.
