Following the interesting list of books sent in by Paul V. Walsh, (E.D. Vol.IV, No.1 May-June 1991, P.29) I would like to include some more titles that might help other members interested in obtaining photographic material concerning Latin American military history, these are books from my library. 1. "Historia [grafical de la Guerra del Chaco", by Mariano Baptista Gumucio, 2da. Edicion, Editorial Ultima Hora, La Paz, Bolivia 1976, 243pp. This has about 500 illustrations including photographs, maps and painting, it also includes text on organization etc. 2. "Notas de la Pasada Guerra del Chaco", by Major Juan Esteban Vacca, Circulo Militar - Biblioteca del Official, Volume 240 (10-1938], Buenos Aires, 1938. 355pp. includes about 400 photographs, maps, etc. 3. "Album Grafico - Cincuentenario de !a Guerra del Chaco 1932 - 1935", Libreria el Lector - Cincuent-enario de la Defensa del Chaco, Asuncion, Paraguay, 1985. Includes 400 photographs, including a list of all Paraguayan officers [ including Russian Tsarist volunteers! in the war. 271pp. 4. "Gran Enciclopedia Fotografica de la Guerra del Chaco", [Periodico "TrInchera"] 2 vol. Asunclon, Paraguay, 1985, Vol. 1 192 pp. Vol. II 171pp. Includes a lot of photographs, Order of Battles, description of battles, organization of the Army and Navy.
