Captures in the Campaign of 1826-27

Fig. 1. Batallon de Cazadores de 1st Linea, Numero 18. Field: deep green with yellow central diamond, the sleeve is deep green with two white ties at each end. Crown: Gold with darkish green inner cloth. at the top of each of the four pionts on the rim is a bluish gem [possibly silver originally, i.e. pearls!. Shield: dark green bearing a blue ring with gold stars, within the ring is a red cross, over which is placed a gold astronomical globe. Around the left side of the shield is a brown branch with yellowish-green leaves and red berries, while on the right side is a yellowish green branch and leaves with crimson buds at the end. The branches are bound together by a dark green bow with a yellow centre, the ribbon at the base of the central yellow diamond is white with black inscription.

Fig.2. 3 de Caballeria. Colouring as in previous flag but with the following exceptions; all gold crown, white stars (placement of branches is reversed here!.
