Editorial

By Terry D. Hooker

If anybody has read the above data [the new cover notice] then you will have noticed that I have decided to make "E.D." into a "QUARTERLY" rather than a "Bi-Monthly" bringing it into line with a large number of European and North American Journals. This will not affect the amount of pages printed, as each Quarterly will have 48 pages, this being equal to 3/12 old issues, in this way longer articles which had to be spread over a period of a year before can now be printed in one or two issues. As for the amount of illustrations produced will vary with each issue depending on the amount of text I am to use. I do hope that the majority or you agree that this metamorphosis of the Journal has its good points, we can only wait and see?

Another thing that I have been toying with is the creation of an annual meeting, so here goes, Saturday 26th. September. At this moment it must be held round my house, 30 people would fit in alright. Anymore and I'll have to think about a room in a pub, please write and let me know if you wish to come. T.D.H.
