Hat black, plume red with yellow top, bow red with dark blue centre, sweat band white with red top and bottom edges, white powdered hair, black tied bow. Tunic dark blue, red collar, cuffs, lapels [as in fig.2.] and turnbacks, yellow lace on cuffs and turnbacks, yellow epaulette, yellow metal buttons, breeches white, black spats, brass buttons, natural leather straps, black pouch and bayonet scabbard.

Hat black, plume green, brass plume holder, cockade as fig. 1. with silver bugle, hat band green with white top and bottom edges. Tunic dark blue, yellow cuffs, collar, lapels and turnbacks, yellow buttons, epaulettes; strap red, white pad before yellow fringe, breeches white, spats and shoes black, natural leather straps and belts.

Hat black, upright plume red, domed plume black, cockade as for fig.l., hat band red with three thin yellow bands, gilt hat badge. Tunic dark blue, red collar, cuffs and turnbacks, red piping on front of tunic, epaulettes; yellow strap with red fringe, yellow buttons, breeches white, black spats and shoes, cross-belts and musket sling white.

[These units were raised in 1779 with one company of Grenadiers, one company of Cacadores [Light Co.], and eight companies of Fuziliers in each. T.D.H.]
