2nd Cavalry Squadron [Capt. Laurent, largely from the Chasseurs d'Afrique] 1st. Artillery Battery [3 "Mounted" sections with 4-lb mountain guns] 2nd. Artillery Battery [3 sections 4 lbs field guns, 1 of 12lb siege guns] 1st. Company 7 cl Engineers. 1 Company of Train [1st. Company "Bis" of the 3rd Train Battalion] Austro-Belgian Brigade:
4 Austrian Infantry Battalions. 1 Hussar Regiment [Austrianl. 1 Uhlan Regiment [Austrian]. 2 Batteries Mountain Artillery [Austrian] 1 Battery Foot Artillery [Mixed] 1 Company Artillery Workmen ["Ouvriers"] 2 Companies Pioneers [Austrian] Detachments of Administration, Medical and Prevote [Gendarmes?] On the break up of the Belgian Legion and impending break up of the Austrian Legion, the 2nd Brigade was progressively reformed with the "Cazadores de Mexico". The Division was disbanded by imperial decree of 1st January 1867.
