Peninsula Regiments in Mexico

The "Estado Militar de America" found in a copy of the "Estado Militar de Espana" for the year 1815, lists the following eight Peninsular Infantry Regiments of the Line as having been sent to Mexico [Viceroyalty of Nueva Espana] since the year 1810:

CASTILLA
Commander, Colonel Francisco Hevia.
Lieutenant Colonel, Marcelo Calderon.
Sargento Mayor, Lt.Col. Josef Santa Marina.

EXTREMATURA
Commander, Lt.Col. Conde de Roncali.
Sargento Mayor, Francisco Lopez.

LOBERA
Commander, Lt. Col. Josef F.Henriques.
Sargento mayor, Josef Urbano.

SABOYA
Commander, Brigadier Melchor Alvarez.
Lieutenant Colonel, Manuel Obeso.
Sargento Mayor, Francisco de Paula Travesi.

ZANORA
Commander, Colonel Rafael Bracho.
1st. Sargento Mayor, Manuel Menica.
2nd. Sargento Mayor, Antonio Martinez.

FERNANDO VII
Commander, Lt.Col. Angel Diaz del Castillo.
Sargento Mavor, Eugenio Villasana.

1st AMERICANO
Commander, Colonel Ramon Monduy.
Sargento Major, Lt.Col. Antonio Conti.

1st de ASTURIAS
Commander, [blank]
Sargento Mayor, Francisco de Paula Carnicero.
