Glued

By Terry Hooker

As one can guess my son and I have been glued to the T.V. watching the World Cup matches which has not allowed too much time in the last two weeks to concentrate on this newsletter, although its contents were already decided on 2/3 months back. While I'm on about these football matches it reminds me of the international match between El Salvador and Honduras in 1969 which started the so called "Football War", now thats a nice obscure war for you all to research. I have been informed that 291 unsold copies of Adrian J. English's book "Armed Forces of Latin America" were recently "remaindered" [or sold off] by Jane's making this book out of print and hard to obtain a copy from your book-shop, well the company who purchased these are "BESTSELLER PUBLICATIONS LTD. Princess House, Suite 260, 50 Eastcastle Street, LONDON W1N 7AP. So if you don't have a copy drop them a line asking if it is still in stock and the price with postage, it was published at I believe] £ 35.00, but it is well worth getting one, if pbssible. I'll stop here, as I'm sure that you would rather have information than my comments. [Let's hope the best team win!]
