FIG. 1. DRUMMER, Gala Uniform;
Shako red, yellow top band, cords yellow, tassels red, anchor gilt, red pompon, National Cockade (dark blue/white/dark blue), black visor. Tunic red, collar, cuffs and turnbacks blue, white piping to collar, cuffs and tunic, gold anchor on collar, epaulettes red with gold half-moons, holding strap and button, white lace on chest and chevrons, white waistcoat. Trousers white, black boots, white leather straps and belts', drum case brass with red rims and white cords.

Shako red with gold bands, gilt plate and chin-scales, National cockade [dark blue/white], gold lace holding strap. Tunic white, red collar, cuffs and shoulder straps, white lace on collar, gilt buttons, chevrons on arm red with two red seams on either side, these are surmounted on the left arm by two yellow chevrons piped in red. Marmaluke style trousers in white, spats white, boots black, white waist-belt and sword frog, brown mace with gilt top.

Cap red with white piping and tassel, gilt badge. Tunic dark blue, green collar, cuffs and shoulder straps with yellow lace, tunic has yellow piping to front and bottom, arm chevrons [with 2 border laces down seams] and chest lace in green, white waist-belt, white breeches, black boots, black sword scabbard with gilt fittings, mace as Fig. 2.
