As you can see the journal is still going strong with. the help of you the subscribers, which is most pleasing to me for I can carry on printing plates and articles etc. on this most interesting of subjects. Rather than just collecting for myself and corresponding with a small number of friends interested in Latin American Military History. This brings me round to Mr. Geoff Lacasse who would like to know if anyone could help do research into the pattern of arms sales in South America between the two world wars, also the Role of the Military at this time: what weapons were produced there, who decided what weapons would be and so on, including uniforms, etc sold to these countries during the period. This information is for a PhD. Degree, he has already written on the Chaco War for his master's thesis. Hopefully, he will send in some info on the Chaco War--types of weapons used, organziation, orders of battles etc. In this subject, I'm afraid I can only help a little, so if you can, please write. I received two issues of Military Portraiture -- these contain info on paintings of people from American Military History and a brief bio of the person in the feature portrait.
