Introduction

By Terry D. Hooker

This work should be looked upon as only a primer and guide to this subject and not as a definitive work, it is hoped that the data included into this small booklet will assist future research on this subject, we will have to see.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who helped and assisted with research material, while also allowing their work to be included in this booklet. My thanks must go to two friends, who submitted articles to the society journal "El Dorado", I have used again their articles, in the hope that their work will be seen and appreciated by non-members of the society, they are Chuck A. Norman from the U.S.A. and Adrian English from Eire, without whose help this booklet would not have materialised, not in this form anyway.

Two other friends that I would like to thank for their continued help and assistance with reference material, while also making my stays in the U.S. extremely pleasurable, without their help this work would not have the first two sections, they are Paul V. Walsh and Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Edward S. Milligan.

This book is dedicated to the memory of Roy Belmont-Maitland, friend and fellow researcher.
