The Division of the North ( División del Norte ), it's Cavalry Brigades and Commanders:

    "Ignacio Zaragoza", commanded by General Eugenio Aguirre Benavides and Colonel Rául Madero. 1,500 men
    "González Ortega", commanded by General Toribio Ortega. 1,200 men
    "Cuauhtémoc", commanded by Colonel José Trinidad Rodriguez. 400 men
    "Francisco I. Madero", commanded by Colonel Máximo García. 400 men
    "Benito Juárez", commanded by General Maclovio Herrera. 2,000 men
    "Hernández", commanded by General Rosalío Hernández. 1,500 men
    "Francisco Villa", commanded by General José Rodríguez. 1,500 men
    "Morelos", commanded by General Tomás Urbina. 2,000 men
    "Guadalupe Victoria", commanded by Colonel Miguel González. 500 men
    "Robles", commanded by General José Isabel Robles. 1,200 men
    "Bracamontes", commanded by Colonel Pedro Bracamontes. 1,200 men

The artillery was commanded by General Felipe Angeles, with 2 Regiments of Artillery under the command of Colonel Martiniano Servín and Colonel Manuel García Santibáñez, one Regiment contained 3 Batteries of 75mm St. Chaumond - Mondragón guns and a battery of Scheineder Cannet. The other Regiment contained 3 Batteries two of 75mm St. Chaumond - Mondragón and one of 80mm guns of the same make.

1914 Troops under the command of General Venustiano Carranza fighting General Pancho Villa.

    1st North-East Division, Commanded by General Alvaro Obregón 22,000 men
    2nd North-East Division , Commanded by General Pablo González 35,000 men
    1st Center Division, Commanded by General Pánfilo Natera 7,000 men
    2nd Center Division, Commanded by General Jesús Carranza 18,000 men
    Forces at Jalisco, Commanded by General Manuel Diéguez 12,000 men
    Forces at Durango, Commanded by Generals Domingo and Mariano Arrieta and Carrillo 7,000 men

    Total Forces: 101,000 men

( I have found no detail of a General Carrillo in my books so alas no Christian name, also I read that both Arrieta brothers were at Durango and not just Domingo. T.D.H. )

Forces under the command of General Pancho Villa

    North Division Commanded by General Pancho Villa 22,500 men
    Forces based at Maytorena in Sonora 1,500 men
    Total Forces 24,000 men
