This Battalion is also shown as being in the 1st Brigade of the Santiago de Cuba Division with the same officers listed for it. ( Stationed at Guantanamo ) 2nd Battalion of the Regiment Simancas, No.64. This Battalion, like the 1st Battalion, is also shown being in the 1st Brigade of the Santiago de Cuba Division, one would think that at the time of printing the "Anuario Militar de Espana, 1898", which most of these details are from, these two Battalions were under orders to transit and therefore were placed in both Brigades.
