Welcome to EGG8! This is the first issue that is going out to subscribers! So you must either be trading with me or sent me $7. For this I thank you.

It has been a busy two months for me. I just moved into a new apartment (gee ... no mushrooms in the basement, I kind of like that). On top of that, I got together two Matrix Games for conventions. The first one, "Solidarity: The decline and fall of the SOVIET Empire" went over very well at Peninsula Campaigns in Michigan. I'll give an onside report of it in EGG9. Now I have only to run 'The Swashbucklers" (a sword fighting Matrix Game) at the Emperor's Birthday.

Along with all the faraway gaming, the local game club is beginning its yearly membership drive this week. Bloomington being a college town, means that at the beginning of September there are lots of new students who really want to spend their Sunday afternoons playing games. With any luck, we should be able to pull in more new memers to the club. Then slowly (so as not to scare them off) I'll introduce them to my home grow/weird games. It just takes a few free kreigspiels to mutate a young gamer into an experimental gamer.

If you have an article or letter, please write me.
