Campaign In a Day

Matrix Games Product

by Chris Engle

I finished writing, proofing, and printing my campaign matrix game product. Three books roughly 120 pages of material, a set of matrix cards and your ready to play. I'm selling them for $10 a game. So if you want one, just send me a check.

"Star Trek Campaign MG" I started a naval campaign MG for the local club. We've done 5 or 6 turns and fought out at least as many battles so it seems to be a success. I have bowed out of the game because I find SFB gives me too much of a headache, but the other players have picked up where I left off and are merrily blasting Gorn battle fleets out of the sky as we speak.

"De Soto vs the Indians of North Georgia" I've been trying out a few Spanish vs Indian games set in the 1540s, using my own "Stupid Simple Rules." So far the Spanish keep losing, but the Indians have been very lucky in their die rolls. I got interested in this after reading a book on the archeology of the Spanish in the South East in the 16th century.

"Bonnie Prince Charlie" I ran this campaign MG at Winter wars in January. The Scots fled from northern England rather than fight the battle of Culloden in Lancaster. Terry Smith did a wonderful job as the Duke of Cumberland, by speaking with a bad German accent throughout the game.
