Bigger, Better Word Processor

by Chris Engle

Welcome to EGG 17! I am glad that this EGG is a return to a bigger magazine. I finished writing "Campaign in a Day" and had my friends and relatives proof read in over the last two months. That is now done, some I should be getting it put together for production by the end of February. This is a lot of work, but worth it to see MGs begin to take off, like they seem to be doing.

Starting with next Issue I am making a technical change in EGG that may be hard to notice. I am switching word processors! My old copy of Wordstar can go back into the box. I'm switching to Word Perfect, the one with a spell checker! That is the real change. I am fairly shameless in publishing EGG nearly unproofread. (Nearly?!? I hear you cry. Try completely unproofed!) Well no more. Now I will let the machine correct what 18 years of public education did not teach me, proper spelling. Earlier today, I wrote an article for MWAN using the new program, and I must admit it is hard to come back to this one. This new hammer sure can nail down them words.
