Convention Offer

by Chris Engle

Welcome to EGG 14. It has been a hectic summer for me. Lots of projects both gaming and otherwise seem to have come to a head since June. Matrix gaming seems to be gearing up. Who knows In a little while It might take off. I say this because some people who heard about Matrix Games three years ago (and said they didn't quite understand what I was saying) are now saying they understand. That, and I am nolonger the only person who is making matrixes and experimenting. Steve Lortz gave me a copy of. a new matrix he made to run morale in his fantasy miniatures rules.

It seems as though it Is time for me to get a new matrix game product out so that people will have a game to play. My plan is to put out the campaign matrix used in Peninsula Campaign along with rules and a number of convention worthy scenarios. When I get this done, I'll make you this deal now. I'll give a copy to anyone who will run a matrix game at one game conventionl I'll probably add in a simple set of miniatures rules in the rear that make for fun quick battles but any set of rules could be used.

Pretty soon Joe Kelly plans to start a WWII naval matrix game set In the Black Sea. This sounds like it may be good. If anyone else wants to try their hand at MG Play by Mail refereeing write me and I'll try to help you get started.
