Movies "Hamlet" If you like films in which EVERYONE dies, then go see Haritlet'. Mel Gibson does a good Job. The cast supports him well, but I was not really Impressed. Then again, Hamlet was never my favorite Shakespear play to begin with. There is a good duel at the end, and seeing Ophella go off the deep end is always Interesting. Conventions Winter War, Urbana, IL. Urbana is a four hour drive from my home in Indiana, so I left the night before. Good thing too because it iced that night. In two days time I succeeded in being wiped out in three out of four games. Beware any you British officers who serve under me in the colonies. Your only consolation will be that I will die with you. I played "Gentlemen of France Fire First" (and won ... by superior card pulling) on the first day. Steve Lawrence playtested the dark ages infantry game I've been playing around with. The game that most everyone talked about was Frank Chadwick's simulation of the present Gulf War (a few weeks early). It felt weird hearing about this as a game, but I was interested to hear the results. We win, but with heavy losses.
