Napoleonic Figure Reviews

by Mike Gilbert

Not very much is new in the figure world, there are some new releases by Minifigs which continue expanding the various lines.

Of more immediate interest is the release of 15mm Austrian flags by LaLegion. Really a nice job, featuring both white and yellow banners of both patterns .... VT-ere were trey when I needed them? Now, I suppose; since I have finished painting all my Bavarian flags, they'll release then next.

FROM TOM DEVOE

Rose Miniatures: 15 Hanover Road, London, SE18, 3ST, England.

They have a beautifully illustrated catalog, #6, of their many 54mm, 30mm and 25mm figures, many in color. These figures cover a wide range from the Mesolithic period through the Falklands War of 1982. While most of their figures are the beautiful 54mms, they also have a range of 30mm wargame figures, which though mostly infantry, covers the post 1810 Saxons, Wurttembergers, Bavarians as well as the French, British, Prussian, Russian. and Austrian. Cost of the catalog is $3.00 and should present you with hours of enjoyment dreaming of your next figure or campaign.

Highly recommended to the serious collector.
