This is our first annual holiday shopping guide. The list of companies is divided into nine categories such as books, collectibles, etc. This is meant only to be a guide, not a comprehensive description of each company and its products and services. We will run in-depth surveys of each of these sections in future issues, based on interviews and on the literature we receive. Not just for the holidays Hanukkah and Christmas are not the only times you'll find this guide useful. You can use it year-round to select gifts for others, and to find that special or unusual item for yourself. Eventually, we intend to publish a directory for Napoleonic products and services. This holiday shopping guide is the first step toward that goal. This list includes nearly every company that had a booth at the Napoleonic Society conference in Chicago in September, as well as many of the dealers who exhibited at the Historicon wargarning convention in July in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
