Question 126

Question 127

What manufacture artillery pieces were used by the Saxon Artillery?

Partial Answer to Question #127

Saxon guns were used by the Saxon forces and were, I'm afraid, of just post Seven Years War pattern, i.e. very old. The infantry had three and six pounders to support them, whilst the cavalry had just one horse artillery battery of six pounders: this latter unit was pretty well 'up to date'. No illustrations of Saxon guns survive, I'm afraid, but they were copies of post Seven Years War Austrian pieces.
