French: 1 light cavalry brigade: 9 squadrons, 1 horse artillery battery 1 light cavalry brigade: 6 squadrons 1 cuirassier Division consisting of 2 brigades each of 2 regiments, each regiment at 4 squadrons totaling 16 squadrons. 1 horse artillery battery. 1 Division consisting of 2 brigades each with 6 battalions. Total 12 battalions, plus 1 6-pdr foot battery and 1 6-pdr horse battery. 1 Division consisting of 1 brigade with 3 battalions and 2 brigades each with 5 battalions. Total 13 battalions, plus 1 6-pdr foot battery and 1 6-pdr horse battery. Artillery Reserve: 2 12-pdr batteries. So, the French had a total of 25 battalions at 720 men each. Russians: 1 light cavalry brigade: 8 squadrons, 1 horse artillery battery. 1 cuirassier Division consisting of 2 brigades each of 2 regiments, each regiment at 4 squadrons totaling 16 squadrons. 1 horse artillery battery. The Russian infantry consisted of 3 Divisions (total 36 battalions) each of 3 brigades: 1 brigade of Jaegers (4 battalions) and 2 infantry brigades each of 2 regiments of 2 battalions (4 battalions per brigade) totaling 12 battalions per Division. Each Division was supported by 1 6-pdr battery and 1 12-pdr battery. Reserve artillery: 2 12-pdr batteries and 1 6-pdr battery. Each Russian artillery battery included 8 guns and 4 Licornes. The Russians had 36 battalions at 600 men each.
