All letters derived from the Fairfax document, dated 3rd October 1643, except those marked *, which are taken from the Essex document, dated 10th April 1644.

NOTE: These letters, and those given elsewhere, are what might be described as rather 'free' renderings of the originals. Nonetheless, however, it is felt that they capture the spirit, if not the precise form, of the models.
