Barry Denton is a regular writer for Partizan Press and has written numerous articles on the English Civil Wars and the political history of those times. In addition to being our Editor, Parliamentarian Studies, his works for us include THE CRISIS IN THE ARMY, 1647; THE KING'S CABINET OPENED, 1645 andWILLIAM THOMPSON, LEVELLER, REVOLUTIONARY OR MUTINEER? He has also written an extensive series of articles on Leicestershire in the Civil War for the Leicester Graphic. Barry is a member of the Historical Association, he is Press Liaison officer to the Cromwell Association, a member of the Sealed Knot Society, a member of the British Association for Irish Studies and in 1986 was elected an Associate of the Royal Historical Society.
