For those of you who wish to use the Ottoman Army in your Napoleonic campaigns, I have produced the following charts. This chart revises the one in The Crescent Among the Eagles to incorporate the new classes of Arnauts and Min Askens.

NOTES

(1) Janissaries can operate in column.

(2) This unit may operate in skirmish order.

(3) Rayas were very rarely formed into large units. More often tbey were formed into approximately company-sized units and attached directly to other units. (4) Some Arnauts were armed with accurate, small bore rifles. Therefore some Arnaut units should be considered as rifles.
