Nashcon was a rousing success this year, and even with the change of venue and the limited space, attendance did not drop too drastically. Next year we will move again up the block to the Days Inn which has 6000 sq. ft. rather than the 4000 we tried to shoehorn ourselves into this year. I want to offer congratulations to Jim Morris who won the Armati Renaissance tournament this year, making pincushions of my Hussites with his English Tudors, though my Hussites did place second. For those of you who are interested, we had a paid attendance of 210 and cleared $2178 after expenses, 16 members renewed and 3 new members joined. Baxter Key promises me that he will threaten whomever volunteers to work the registration desk with bodily harm if they fail to show up, so maybe I'll not have to sit there again while concurrently trying to run a tournament.
