FYI

Member David Brooks asks: There is/was a minatures rules set for civil war ironclads called "Iron and Steam." Would you happen to know who wrote those rules or where I might find a copy of them? If not, would you mind asking the Dispatch readers to see if someone "out there" could help me? DBr1975231@aol.com

Member Jim Venn and Cynthia have opened a general interest Hobby Shop in Shelbyville, TN at 910 N. Main St. Though Jim is a historical gamer in my group, he is going to carry all sorts of materials. If you want something that interest's you, check out their Quantum Magicks and Ordnance or give them a call at 931-685-0221

One of the items approved by the Regional BoD for purchase this year was a trailer to move and store the tabletops used at our conventions (primarily NASHCON). Entitled and labled the HMGS MidSouth Kriegspielsonderkraftwagen (sp?), this is a 4x8 covered trailer also now available to any of our membership that might need it for gaming purposes. The one drawback is that to use it you'll have to come to Columbia, TN to pick it up and return it, as well as unload the boards currently stored in it. At some time in the future it may be used to carry around to other shows a fancy terrain set up demo game ala HoA's Tarawa.
