I have to admit, the con was a blast! I didn't see one person that wasn't involved in a game somewhere. It was amazing! I've never seen a con where there wasn't at least one person in a corner that was kibbitzing about how there wasn't enough to do, but the guys from the Hattieburg Fuzileers pulled it off. The guys to thank for all this fun are Vince Clyant and Mike Lowery. They put on a great show, and had some really great dealers. Not a large assortment of dealers, but a select few who could cater to the specific needs of the gamer. Vince, of course, had his table, with beautiful terrain and buildings to tempt the gamer to give as much money as our "mommies" (i.e., wives and girlfriends) will let us have. The folks (n.b. Ed) from Wargames, Inc. showed up with some of the best pirate figures, from Dixon, that I have ever seen. They also had quite of bit of DBM stuff for sale. Pat Condray was there with painted tanks and figures, which is all one would need to play in his lovely Spanish Civil War game. And, to finish out the group, Drew Doyle and 3-D Contours had so many painted figures and buildings that there was hardly any room for the books he brought! I did my part by buying something from everyone, especially from Drew (when you have a chance to buy 33 foot Herreros and 42 mounted that are well painted for $150, well dammit, you do it). All in all, this con was a great chance to meet new friends and see old ones. I have to admit that for a smaller con, the Fuzileer Muster was probably the best that I've been to in awhile. Given a chance to go back next year, I would be there in the blink of an eye.
