There are still 38 of you who haven't paid your dues for 1999 as another 108 who have been dropped from the rolls for non-payment. To avoid such, pay your dues. HMGS Mid-South member Gary Peavyhouse has created an internet mailing list for players and referees of the GENERAL QUARTERS naval wargaming rules sets. Anyone interested in subscribing should visit this website: http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/GenQuarters

It's true. The lads from 19th Century Miniatures/Battle Honors USA now own the thousands of Old Glory 15mm molds (as well as some of the OG sculpting capacity for new 15 mm lines). They are very busy filling orders, just try getting through on their line (616-837-7045) during the day! I had to wait and call Steve J. at home at night. By the way, both owners, Stephen Thomas & Steve Jamieson, host fantastic wargames at their homes approx. twice/month.

This Saturday is WWII, Japanese v Russia in 1939. They have a splendid 32-36 foot table, all types of terrain boards, and can vary the width from a base 6ft wide up to 10ft. So, if you are in the Grand Rapids/Grand Haven (western Michigan) give them a call at the business number above. They are always looking for new players.

One good thing I did hear from Steve. is that they DO plan to fill in the missing 15mm Napoleonic numbers that have been "not available' for 6-8 years now. This is in addition to expanding the Colonial line for other conflicts AND bring out some BRAND NEW LINES.

BTW, the sale of the 15mm stuff allows Russ physical room and casting capacity to focus on the 25mm line (except the CD WWII line).

Back again. Baxter Key tells me that the real joining is an agreement that MidSouth member Steve Jamison has made with Russ Dunaway (Old Glory) for production of the 15mm lines (except WWII) of Old Glory so that Russ can concentrate on his 25mm lines. Steve will still be doing the lines he was previously producing including Battle Honours.
