Regional News We have in the past taken Tim Walker's show Battle of Cowpens under our wing, but this year date conflict problems (it was originally on the same weekend as Cold Wars) led to a date change so now Cowpens falls on the same weekend as our Mississippi show. Fuzilier Muster. One of the past knocks of the National Board has been the inability to deconflict show dates. Heck, we can't even do it within our own Region! I guess that says that there is an increase in popularity of the hobby and demonstrating it to the gaming community at large. I want to wish all the best for the New Year, and you should find the budget numbers satisfying if nothing else. In a word, MidSouth is healthy and if all the slackards continue to renew we will have a successful Region. We will continue to offer you gaming conventions where you can kill little lead men to your heart's content, and have fun doing it too!
