This month I'm going to be a bit lazy as Al Gaiser has provided two really good product reviews. I ran across a line of 15mm WWII figures from another manufacturer, YUCCA Miniatures in New Mexico ( 528 Sequoia Rd., Chaparral, NM 88021). Some good figs. Also, I will admit I've lost my notes on some stuff I was going to review. Avalon HillHere's an email I received from Kevin Fitzpatrick's shop concerning Avalon Hill: GCH&S EMAIL NEWS 9/23/98 As many of you are already aware Avalon Hill is in the process of being acquired by Hasbro. The details and effects of this merger are still unknown to us. We have heard lots of rumors, some of which may even be true. AH is still shipping products to our suppliers at this point. We do have a good selection of AH titles in stock right now. However, we do have word from one of those suppliers that several titles are not currently available and as this progresses he expects that more will become in short supply fairly soon. We don't encourage panic buying on anyone's part but facts is facts and it seems that games become in great demand just at the time we can no longer get them for you. With that in mind if there is a title you are looking for we strongly encourage you to plan you purchases soon. We want to be able to supply you with these titles if possible but really don't have any idea how long that may be the case.
