We would like for you to remember Joey Lacour's family in your prayers. Joey passed away 9 September. He was the president and guiding spirit of the Gulf-South Region.

Please note: Reunion 1998 has had to be MOVED! to the Governor's House & Convention Center Ramada Inn (I-65 & Harding Place) and the dates have changed to 30 Oct-1 Nov. Tim Mullin has a site for the 1999 Reunion. It is the Cobb Conference Center, 755 Cobb Place Blvd., Kennesaw, Georgia 30144. Dates are 22-24 Oct 99 with the POC being Susan Barnes Perry 770-528-9125. A Comfort Inn is located close by for those attending. The Center is at southwest corner of of I-75 and Ernest Barrett Parkway.

Also we have a new convention jewel to add to the MidSouth crown. It is the Fuzilier Muster on the weekend of 6 March 1999 down in Hattiesberg, MS. This may seem rather untoward, given Joey's passing but this show has been in the planning stages for several months so no, we are not trying to infringe on anybody else's area of operation. Just offering good gaming to guys who like playing with toy soldiers:-).
