First off I would like to thank everybody for their notes and thought’s during my recent episode, It just goes to finally settle the debate once and for all that I do have a heart, shriveled and blackened as it may bee it is there. Well September is here, and that means another Dispatch. The contract for Next years Nashcon has been signed and we will be back at the Marriott next year. A few notes about this. First, to a re arranging of the room time we will have a staggered start time on the 1st session games with 4 of the starting at 2 in the tournament room and the rest starting at 3 in the rooms where they have been in the past. By doing this the club will save $1200.00 on facility rentals and it reasonably should not affect gaming much. Secondly support from the outlying areas, Augusta, Birmingham, Hattiesburg, and Memphis. At Nashcon 2004 there was a decided lack of attendees and game no shows (those who sign up to run a game but fail to attend) from these regions, I understand that things come up and you are unable to make it. Again this year if your groups would like to run games we will gladly make a set of table available to your group for the entire weekend, so come up, roll dice and have fun. October means Reunion time, Again Charley, ED, And Patrick will be putting on another great show this year, so I encourage all to show-up roll dice have fun and support the RBI’ers, who are an important part of the group. See there add in the dispatch for more details. Some of the membership has been complaining to me that the editor has not published their article or has only used the pictures from them. I will remind you to read the submission guidelines in the Dispatch and on the website. If you don’t follow these then there is no guarantee that your article will make it in. There is also a disturbing trend, of people trying to slip free advertising into there articles, as in “we used these figures and you can get them at ***”. If you wish to list the figures and their manufactures along with rule do them as footnotes or a bibliography at the end of the article. Well it is off to Memphis next month to throw dice and see everyone.
