from Mike Demana at HMGS Great Lakes
HMGS Great Lakes has shifted the date and venue of its flagship con, Advance the Colors '04, slightly. The new date is Sept. 10-12. The venue is the Heritage Center of Clark County, in Springfield, OH, which is the headquarters of the Clark County Historical Society. It is a multi-function site with historical displays, theatre, exhibition gallery, coffee cafe and meeting rooms. The Great Lakes Board believes it will be a great location, with the added benefit of working with people who are history buffs, like us. The Convention hotel is The Springfield Inn, right across the street from the Center. We have a block of rooms set aside for us at $69 a night plus tax (the group code for this rate is "HMGS"). The rate is good from now until Aug. 20, after which the discounted rate will not apply. So, don't wait too long! ADVANCE THE COLORS '04 Sept. 10-12 Heritage Center of Clark County, 117 S.
