Editor’s Notes

Ads, Alamo, and Augusta Issue

by John Hoover

Putting this issue together it felt a lot like the “ads and Alamo” edition. We’ve got the 4th installment of the ongoing Alamo series along with a review/rebuttal of the series.

I’ve finally finished finals for the semester. Who would have ever imagined that a graduate level database class would have a comprehensive final. My other class had six essay questions. Not that I’m overly complaining, but I wouldn’t have ever guessed that I would need an exam booklet for computer science exams.

Renewals are going well, they continue to trickle in at about 5-8 a week.

Ok, now for the apology.

I want to apologize for not having the Siege of Augusta notice in the last issue. Oversight on my part. I’m hoping to reformat and have a better way of keeping track of upcoming events for next year so maybe I’ll remember to but the Nashcon flyer in by March.

Keep the submissions and battle reports coming. If anyone would like, I’d be happy to send you a blank MS Word document to use for formatting submissions, especially for those wanting to submit flyers and notices.

Again, just as a reminder:

I would like to set a date of the second (2nd) Saturday as the deadline for submitting material for the current month’s Dispatch.
