Just noted after reading the last Dispatch the article by Al Gaiser on "25mm" Napoleonics, and the subsequent NashCon photos depicting Napoleonic Period encounters. I couldn't help but notice also that two of the photos contained armies made up mostly of the 20/25mm Hinton Hunt Wargames Figures Napoleonics that I have manufactured since 19861. Should anyone be interested in purchasing unpainted figures, I currently have a supply of about 100 "Battalion Bags" @$20.00 each. If anyone is interested in acquiring Painted Units or Entire Armies of these fine quality wargames figures, I have recently put rny own vast Personal Collection Up for Sale and will provide listings to anyone who is interested. It is an opportunity to accurnulate painted Napoleonics at reasonable prices! For a "fast-play" yet realistic ruleset to use for Napoleonics, I recommend "Tricolor" by Rick Crane. This excellent ruleset was first published in the 1970's and features good-sized units, easy morale, firing & melee, and lots of casualties! A fairly large game can easily be fought in 4 hours, even without previous familiarity with the rules. I've successfully GM'ed games with up to a dozen participants, at past shows and conventions using Tricolor. Most everyone reported having a good time. The only problem is that Tricolor apparently has been out of print for quite some time and thus it's not easy to find a copy. If the author, Rick Crane is out there, perhaps he'd know where there are some copies left for interested parties to acquire.
