I have received several emails, and rather than quote verbatum, I'll synopsize: From Charlie Clay in Memphis It looks like they want to host the Wargamer's Reunion 2003, and so they shall (Mike Randles is going 'phew'!). Also, it looks from a longish article he sent that the U.K.-based Games Workshop Group wants to build a $5.8 million, 100,000-square-foot facility in Memphis that would serve as a major distribution center and manufacturing operation for the company. Given that they do ancients (Warhammer Ancient Battles) and ECW at present (among other things) they may become a major presence (for good or ill?). I received an email and samples from member Grant Johnson about a painting service he had used provided by Ian Bodger (POB 694, Machias, ME 04654, eddress: naibodger@hotmail.com). Ian has also sent me several letters and he's offering painting services at 3 figures for $5. Ian's painting is a 6 (of 10) and are a good wargaming standard. No shading or eyeballs, but his work is adequate and I'm thinking about sending him some of my Napoeonics to do.
