I went to Warfair last month, which was a good little show down in Atlanta. By changing his dates and location, Charlie was able to reduce his attendance, though not deliberately. Ask the NASHCON directors how moving around influences attendance I had fun and played in an interesting Spearhead game of Japanese vs Russians (1939 in Mongolia). Tim Mullen says he'll be hosting this one again at Reunion. Command and Control problems for both sides, clunky tanks, attacking superior numbers and night attacks in a rain storm were just some of the challenges encountered. Great fun, just don't be the Japs unless you enjoy a challenge. Bob Moon had a beautiful ACW action set up, real eye candy as only Bob can do. I wanted to play but was too busy stomping Japs to participate. I'll say this generically, if you do generically, if you do not find a game to your liking or in an era you have interest at any convention, IT IS YOUR FAULT. You should have volunteered to run a game. I've tried attendee surveys asking what you want but YOU never fill out the damn things and you know what? My crystal ball does not work too well. Complaining after the fact does NO good whatsoever. This group is all volunteer and is only as good as YOU make it. So, think about Reunion and Siege of Augusta. There, enough rant for this month.
