Well, NASHSAUNA (a suggested rename for NASHCON) has come and gone. Attendance was down about 25 from last year and 2 dealers failed to show, though we understand their reasons. National news reports about the fire at the downtown thermal plant were, shall we say, overstated. The air came back on Friday night and hot water (What, wargamers taking showers!?) soon thereafter. I sat and listened to the dealers Saturday night, and heard no complaints about the show so they apparently did well and will return. We are now up to half of our members having paid their 2002 dues so even though we lost money on the convention (about $800 but all the accounting is not yet complete) we are still solvent.
