From Pete Mancini Hi all, Nashcon looked really good. Sorry I wasn't able to stay for long, I was in such dire pain due to a back injury. I ended up missing most of the convention. However my friend Pete came down from Boston and really enjoyed himself. My friend Maura got introduced to the hobby and is now very interested. (Hell, I got her to play "Eight Air Force" and other historical games, miniatures was a cinch afterwards!) I look forward to next Nashcon a lot and Hope I can be of more help then. I was really amazed at the dealers you are able to attract. Top notch. I help run Havoc in Massachusetts and while it is a bigger convention the dealers are not as good. If Nashcon had Havoc's crowd and your dealers - wow, what a combo that would be. Still, the convention had a great family atmosphere. I saw people I recognized at nearly every table and I liked that. There were some great games too. My friend really enjoyed the Viet Nam game he got to play in on Saturday. Many of the folks who attended NASHCON were impressed with Keith Jordan's game. Here are the rules he used for the battle. He also came up and tried out the game with my group before the con. I was the British, made a SERIOUS tactical error in setting up and had a devil of a time holding. Fortunately Barry and Mike, as the Zulus, also made their fair share and so the British were able to squeak out a victory, just barely.
