This is from the Qualitycast.com webpage. SPECIAL NOTICE Quality Castings Inc has been sold to Nineteenth Century Miniatures effective March 26, 2002. The entire business is being relocated to the Nineteenth Century Miniatures facilities in Michigan and should be ready to receive your orders on April 1, 2002. The existing website and email address qc@qualitycast.com will continue to be functional. Quality castings will be at Cold Wars under the Battle Honors banner. Nineteenth Century Miniatures owners Steve Jamieson and Stephen Thomas have extensive plans to continue expanding the QC line and improving it. I, Chuck Cook, have owned QC for eighteen years and believe its time to move on to other things. I will miss all of you who have been so supportive over the years, and the many friends I have made. Thank you all for being such wonderful customers! I am very comfortable that big Steve and little Steve are the right owners to take QC on to the next level, and I believe that you will be too. See http://www.wizards.com/news/pressrelease.asp? 20020321 a for the news release. This was one of the number of rumors flying around the industry this year and one of the few that made sense. Of all the suitors for GenCon I feel Peter understands GenCon and its attendees more any of the others. He will more than likely show up at the Star Wars Celebration 2 in Indy in May to check out the Convention Center in full Fan mode. I wish him and everyone in WbtC Events Management team the best with the change. Whether this changes the status of GenCon moving to Indianapolis but that has yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned for more. Randy Porter
