In the War of liberation, against the imposter government of the south, we achieved yet another glorious victory. On the 15 of October (Tuesday, Jan. 8 @002) The Viet Cong forces of a village led by their able commander Sha Ka of the hamlet were able to defeat a unit of American soldiers. The American's came and destroyed the village's shelters and rice storage area inflaming the local population. While the Americans were busy committing this act of atrocity, Sha Ka was able to assemble his forces and set up an ambush. As they left the storage area they were brought under fire from one of his .30 cal machine guns captured from the French by Sha Ka's father. This resulted in the first American casualties. After this brief contact the Americans became disoriented and were unable to mount a counterattack. Lt. Alan Gaiser fresh from the states, did however manage to contact their helicopter support and call them in to attack the helpless villagers. This resulted in mass casualties among the unarmed and helpless. As the Americans moved through this attack they came under fire by the rest of the VC defenders, and were destroyed with all being killed except for one soldier who was identified as Sgt. Scott Bishop of New York. He was interrogated and then handed over to our NVA advisors in the area to be sent North where he will be treated with dignity and respect. Though our losses were high, we were able to achieve victory and those that perished will rest with the ancestors know that they died in a true and just clause.
