Wow! My review last month of the Homegrown Miniatures generated several positive responses and some additional figures to review from the manufacturer himself. It was no less than John Younghaus (late of Modeler's Mart). The figure designer and sculpter is Darrell Combs who does an excellent job on these 25mm ACW figures. The sets received were an ACW artillery bag with 9 crewmen, a carriage and two gun tubes, a 10pdr Parrott and a 3" Rodman Ordnance. The catalog included lists the artillery pack as containing 4 guns, 16 crew and two mounted officers for $21.95 The other bag contained some nice samples including a mounted officer, a dead cavalryman and his downed horse and several at right shoulder shift attacking.
