At 1:2400 scale you have: GHQ Superb models that are generally fairly robust and can withstand moderately careful handling. On the downside these require considerable assembly. WWI and WWII. BBs run 11$ CinC Good models that are very robust. Fairly recently resumed production after a long hiatus. Many examples can be obtained through vendors who have old stocks. WWI and WWII. Pewtercraft The flying Dutchman of figure maunfacturing. It appears every once and a while and operates then vanishes again. It has a limited 2400 scale line. Its currently MIA Figurehead At 2400 scale this includes wooden ships from 1200 through to Lissa in 1866. At the scale the models are inescapably basic. See below for poc. 1:3000 and UpAt 1:3000 there are Navwar and Davco and the rest of the semi-incestuous British companies. There is also Denian that does moderns. They have an extensive line from Tsushima on thru 1945. Figurehead is available thru Regal Miniatures www. regalminiatures.com I'm over 40 so I cant see ships below 3000 scale so I can give no guidance on the quality of the 4800 and 6000 scale lines.
