Well, though we had a very successful NASHCON and were willing to return to the same site, another organization wanted the site on the same weekend as we, and they were willing to pay the $4,000 PER DAY that was asked. That's a wee bit more than last time and that we could afford (this year we paid $2800 for the whole weekend). We have formed a search committee to find a new location (again, sigh). Baxter tells me that there is a good chance that we will be able to get the downtown Stoff er Renaissance as a site. This whole thing will be nailed down by the next Dispatch.
