No, you're not losing your mind. Yes, you do have the current issue of Cry Havoc at least a month before its issue date. There's no great mystery really. I'll be on leave from March 28th - May 2nd, presenting me the choice of either preparing the issue earlier or later than its normal date. So, since I had the material ready I decided to get a jump on things. Wargaming Widow is taking a break this issue but she did supply the answers to the diabolical Word Scramble from last issue -- and based on some of the comments we received you're probably glad for it. Also in this issue Earl Toops recounts the sights of Moscow he encountered on last year's vacation. Mike Flynn, inspired by Jim Werbaneth's reminiscence of General Ridgway, weighs in with his further reasons why Ridgway was one of America's great generals. Finally, we open a debate on the Robert E. Lee's generalship. This was not my original intention, I had simply let a few people read an article I had written for S&T. One reader responded with a "print this if you dare" article. Despite my long standing editorial policy against the sort of personal attacks contained in the article, I decided to run it (after all the attacks are against me). And if nothing else it demonstrates the emotions the Civil War still evokes. Cry "Havoc!"'s other readers are invited to weigh in as well and add their comments.
