This is "Cry 'Havoc!' #44. Late but still not that bad considering. Didn't think we could do it did you? This issue is actually kind of interesting. I received the cover story in September from my son Karl who is in the US Army. You have to bear in mind that like all parents I forget to notice that my children grow-up and mature. When I opened it I expected it to be the way I remember his previous essays. Well I was wrong. I was impressed, it was a very strong draft. Not trusting myself I sent it off to Jim Werbaneth, Julie Boone, Brian Train, Art Clark and Bob Miller -- they all concurred it was a very strong draft. In Julie's words "it rocks." So without trepidation or feelings of nepotism I am pleased to publish Karl Tschanz' first military history article on Operation Paul Bunyan - The Korean Axe Murders. The second key article in this issue is my article on Pyrrhus of Epirus, which was voted the winner of the Charles S. Roberts Award for best historical article at this years Origins. Hope all is well and each and everyone of you has a great 2004. Back to Cry Havoc! #44 Table of Contents Back to Cry Havoc!
