Let Slip the Dogs of War

Editorial

by David W. Tschanz

This is "Cry 'Havoc!" #43. We're all caught up.

Didn't think we could do it did you?

Actually I wasn't sure either -- but tremendous effort on the part of the editorial staff, you the contributors and a bit of luck helped me get CH43 ready long before I expected it would be.... Now I have two whole month before I'm overdue for CH44!!!

Actually this issue simply fell together, which is nice to have happen. Alan Cranford returns with some insight into Douhet,, while Coyote Smith makes his own observations while drinking cognac with the dead Italian general. Tony Rohling -- New York's finest amateur historian, shares photos from Ground Zero. I'll let the Douhet theorists work out the meaning of this one.

Jim Werbaneth continues to roam and takes us to Fort Ligonier -- just in time (I know he didn't plan this) for October's Fort Ligonier Days!!! See you in November.
