This issue wraps up the first year of Cry "Havoc!" One that can be counted as moderately successful form the subscription viewpoint and wildly successful from the contribution perspective. As with the last issue most of this one is not coming from me but from a group of contributors and readers I have come to respect. In view of the fact that I was in a motor vehicle accident recently, where the reason for the rear end collision offered by the Sudanese driver was "Sometimes I get homesick," it's nice to know someone will carry on. As I often have said, I don't have all the answers and my interests are certainly NOT the only ones worth pursuing. I learn more from you than you could ever learn from me. This month we have two feature articles -- graphics editor Bob Miller clues us in on D&D and two of our Saudi Arabian subscribers delve into an little known incident in Kuwait's military history. Jim Werbaneth lets us in on his secret frustration with the great dice conspiracy and even offers a solution. Wargaming Widow has checked her calendar and offers some interesting and intriguing gift ideas -- though there is almost certainly one that Jim will not want. Earl Toops turns his reviewers eye on a trilogy of books about the often overlooked military history of Poland. As always we want YOUR contributions, they help make us a newsletter YOU want to read.
